Develop, design and the lead the successful execution of the information technology (IT) strategy and roadmap and other strategic IT initiatives, identify opportunities for continuous improvement through the use of innovative technologies that enable and enhance the business' profitable growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Shape and guide innovative strategy development by utilizing open thinking and providing an objective perspective to push back, influence and encourage adoption of effective alternative Information Technology plans
  • Develop IT strategy plans into actionable initiatives by partnering with IT and business unit leaders to understand objectives, utilize disciplined approach to problem-solving and ensure structured and objective strategy development
  • Drive targeted, results-oriented initiatives by analyzing and evaluating technical and organizational gaps to develop and design profitable and cost-saving IT strategies
  • Manage and deliver initiatives by monitoring tasks, ensuring effectiveness of key project drivers and encouraging collaboration and project momentum to ensure rigorous, efficient, and profitable execution
  • Monitor and evaluate executed strategic initiatives by reviewing metrics, reports and industry trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure a sustainable business unit operations strategy
  • Advise and consult business unit leaders by analyzing trends and researching industry best practices to guide the development of operations strategies that support business plans and organizational growth
  • Manage a performance enhancement culture by actively coaching and mentoring direct reports, providing regular feedback and developing employees for wider roles and responsibilities to foster professional growth and development
  • Manage budgeted resources by anticipating expenditures, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility
  • Create a positive environment by modeling cultural expectations and guiding leaders to reward performance and value "can do" people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun

Experience / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • 8 years relevant experience with internal or external consulting
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration is preferred
  • Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources
  • Policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting the business and organization
  • Advanced knowledge of business unit processes, operations, and technology
  • Relevant trends and information within the industry
  • Conduct gap analysis and identify and implement innovative and efficient improvement initiatives
  • Financial acumen and awareness of financial responsibility
  • End-to-end strategic planning and implementation including risks, benefits and opportunities analysis to ensure organizational competitiveness and satisfaction of established long-range objectives
  • Determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcome
  • Challenge traditional thinking and offer new ideas
  • Build and establish constructive and cooperative working relationships and open lines of communication
  • Effectively present information to influence and persuade organizational leaders and key stakeholders
  • Analyze and synthesize data to form options and recommendations
  • Research and engage with marketplace competition
