Description

We’re looking for a talented VP, Digital Communications and Social Media to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining the Mr. Cooper voice, vision and community on our digitalchannels, helping to develop and carry out a strategy and story throughout all of our digitalchannels, from our blog to social media. You will work across departments to manage the content marketing strategy and improve our online reputation while driving leads and website usage. The ideal candidate for this position will be an exceptional communicator, and willing to get his or her hands dirty; this position requires the need for equal parts strategic thinking and active creation. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing the digital strategy on earned channels including the blog and social media.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a content marketing strategy to develop a positive and engageddigital/social community including but not limited to:

    1. -Develop, launch and create a strategy for a consumer facing blog

    2. -Develop strategy for social mediachannels and collaborate with servicing team to ensure social media communities are successfully maintained

  • Provide strategic guidance to the community management team and lead any escalation issues

  • Help build and support the brand voice

  • Develop and edit content for digital assets to be used on digitalchannels and for earned media campaigns

  • Collaborate with Creative Team in order to create consistent, brand-appropriate communications

  • Collaborate with Marketing Originations Team in order to establish SEO strategies

  • Develop communications strategies to engage internal Team Members as brand advocates externally

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of content messaging and delivery, determining which methods work for the brand and why



    Requirements

  • 10 years experience in copywriting for print & digital marketing; familiarity with financial services

  • Demonstrated ability to connect with consumers through innovative storytelling

  • Passion for creating original content and unique marketing offers

  • Experience creating content with a strong SEO focus

  • Experience managing creative talent

  • Genuinely inspired and excited by our mission

  • Expert knowledge of brand positioning and storytelling across multiple channels and platforms
