The Vice President of Dialysis Operations is responsible for supporting Somatus’ mission, vision, values, and customer service philosophy. He/she will direct and oversees the certification and operations of Out-Patient facilities ensuring effective facility operations in accordance with all clinical, legal, compliance and regulatory requirements and programs. Develop and formulate strategic plans for physicians, outpatient dialysis facilities, medical practices where Somatus has little to no presence.
This position is 100% remote.
Collaborates with CEO, CFO, VP Medial Affairs, Chief Product and Strategy Office, VP of Dialysis Operations/Population Health Clinical Services and EVP of Clinical Enterprise where applicable, regarding the provision of high-quality patient care and compliance with the pertinent company policies and procedures.
Responsible setting up the administration of business operations for out-patient dialysis programs including directing the functions and actions related to the quality of overall provision of patient care, verification of equipment maintenance, audits, and inventory
Expand relationships with medical groups, and providers that are not affiliated with Somatus which will enable them to expand into new markets
Participate in strategic planning sessions with the executive council
Pursue and close strategic relationships with physician practices, hospitals, and accountable care organizations to include acquisition, joint venture relationships and other related partnerships
Analyze current marketplace trends and analyze statistical data to address areas of market development

Maintain awareness and knowledge of competition; proactively assess related strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats; analyze and implement effective responses
Setting and maintain financial goals and overall responsibility for outpatient P and L, track metrics for success and ROI.
Develops and maintains strong Medical Director and physician relationships engagement, facilitating staff relationships with physicians, and ensures regular and effective communication with all physicians including participating in regular meetings with Medical Director supports and drives Somatus quality standards through meeting regulatory requirements and the practice of QAPI, including the use of the appropriate company QAPI metrics.
Strategic responsibility for the development and implementation of proactive programs, operational improvements, communications, and other division-specific general management responsibilities
Maintains a close working relationship with the CEO, CFO, VP Medial Affairs, Chief Product and Strategy Office and EVP of Clinical Operations and corporate office personnel, ensuring appropriate communication of Somatus initiatives, policies and procedures to facility
Utilizes knowledge of Somatus services and products to contribute to the growth of the business.
Contributes to the development and revision of any applicable policies and procedures for the facilities and the pertinent updating and maintenance of the related
Recognize and cultivate strategic growth opportunities, performance, development competitive strategies in alignment with the company’s mission and value.

This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
Will require some travel, including overnight.
Required Education and Experience:
7+ years of overseeing multiple Outpatient Dialysis centers at the Senior Director/VP level
10+ years of related experience, population health, ambulatory care, or coordinating care across multiple settings and with multiple providers.
Experience with development and strategic planning for physicians, outpatient dialysis facilities, medical practices to facilitate and oversee opening new facilities.
Demonstrated management skills necessary to provide leadership in the supervision of Managers, facility personnel and to ensure the delivery of maximum quality care to all patients
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - experience with medical database software
Demonstrated leadership competencies and management skills for the position, including excellent communication, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, results orientation, team building, motivating employees, performance management and decision
Denovo experience and business development in white spaces
Familiarity with ambulatory health care laws, regulations, and standards.
Understanding of coding and reimbursement systems, risk management and performance improvement, market research analysis, P&L management, and Team Building helpful.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Masters (MBA, MHA) or Doctoral Degree.
Clinical Background Preferred, RN, NP, PA etc.
