The Vice President, Business Development and Managed Care isresponsible for developing and enhancing relationships with health plans and potential business partners. This position maximizes the company’s revenue opportunities bysupporting its interests incontract negotiations and the implementation and management of managed care relationships, and identifying and proposing new business ventures. It isresponsible for: contributing to strategic business planning; strategy implementation; and planning, organizing, directing and conducting the negotiation and implementation of managed care andother business agreements with current and prospective purchasers of rebatecontracting andhealthcare services. This includes such payer entities as HMOs, PPOs, BHOs,other hospitals andhealthcare systems, health homes, andotherhealthcareentities.

10+ years progressively responsible sales positions in managed care/health care. 3+ years in a leadership role., Established track record of profitable revenue bearing account closures and strong negotiation skills. Experience working with prospects and customers to package, price, present and close business in line with company priorities. Proven track record in sales and marketing, with the ability to develop strategic marketing plans and manage a sales team across complex business lines. Strong financial acumen. Proven ability to succeed in a highly collaborative organization.
