The position of Lead Voice Communications Engineer is established to oversee complex telecominfrastructure. This position will provide advanced Voice Communications system design, maintenance, project management and support to ensure SLAs and regulatory compliance are maintained. This includes providing telecom system design, maintenance and application support on all systems that interface with the core phone systems. Also serve as a key stakeholder in the design and testing of the DR strategy for Voice Communications systems. Adhere to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Other Job Requirements


Point person for all Voice systems related vendors and projects.
Responsible for Magellan closures and relocations.
Design, build and maintain all Voice Communications systems in all locations.
Perform advanced troubleshooting alongside vendors and internal resources.
Configure, enhance, and test call routing vectors to meet business requirements.
Administer carrier orders for local and long distance circuits and associated terminations.
Administer trouble tickets and change control requests as required.
Assist in the planning, designing, documenting and execution of major Voice Communications projects and serve as Technical Project Manager.
Provide advanced technical support on Voice Communications equipment and software.
Coordinate the design, implementation and maintenance of Voice Communications systems.
Assist with related security projects, tasks and audit compliance activities.
Develop and maintain documentation for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
Design and participate in Disaster Recovery exercises for telecommunications systems.
Monitor all Voice Communications systems and applications for issues with capacity/performance.
Coordinate the investigation and document the resolution of all issues.
General knowledge of IVR.

Perform special projects as assigned.
Occasional after-hours maintenance.
On call incident support.
Occasional travel.
