In this position, you will work as a member of the Corporate Infrastructure Team based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. You will also collaborate with members of the infrastructure team in other U.S. based locations and engage with engineering teams to stand up new virtual environments and support existing ones. Experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, vSphere, ESX, vCenter and all VMWare best practices are a must. Experience with Enterprise Cloud Management and Virtual Systems administration tools such as vRealize automation, vCenter Orchestrator and VMWare NSX Network virtualization and security platform is highly desired.

Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of technical experience in multiple disciplines, education, technical certifications or training
5-10 years relevant technical experience
Experience in virtual architecture and design
Virtualization certification (i.e. VMWare certifications: VCA, VCP, VCAP, VCIX, VCDX)
Manage, configure and install VMware vSphere environment: vCenter, hypervisor on new hosts, virtual machines, datastore creation and maintenance.
Design, Build, Test, Maintain and implement Enterprise VMWare Virtual Environment.
Document virtualization environment processes and procedures.
Ensure ongoing operation of systems/applications through troubleshooting, scheduling/monitoring jobs and technology-related business processes, and end user support as needed.
Health-performance-optimization monitoring of virtualized architecture.
Evaluate, test and apply version updates to ESX hosts and vulnerability patches as needed
Develop and implement test plans to verify installation, upgrades or repairs including back-out plan
Update and patch virtual machines within the enterprise.
Team Player with excellent communications skills
US Citizenship required based on government customer requirements

Windows administration
Automation design
Windows certified (MCSE) preferred or equivalent work experience.
