The Vice President, Tax, will oversee and lead the Company’s 25 person tax department. Your role will be to proactively manage the Company’s Real Estate Investment Trust (“REIT”) compliance and administer the income tax, property tax and transactional tax functions. Specifically, you’ll work closely with the Company’s senior financial, legal and corporate development teams.
The role reports to the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and you’ll have unfettered access to the entire senior leadership team, including our dynamic President and CEO. You will be responsible for leading a team focused on four key areas: REIT compliance, income/franchise tax, property tax and transactional tax. The role will also have significant involvement in any merger or acquisition projects.

Solid understanding of the Internal Revenue Code, and fundamentals of multi-state tax issues
Able to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes- contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with either CPA or JD, plus twenty (20) years of taxexperience in public accounting or industry.
