Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of home products, is looking for a senior leader to join their executive team as Vice President of Supply Chain Operations at their global headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.
They will provide leadership and guidance to the business functions of a global integrated Supply Chain including Procurement, Supplier Management, Inventory Planning, Distribution, Customer Service, and Overseas Manufacturing.
This role is accountable for the development and performance management of Operational business goals and objectives derived from the company’s objectives.
This position will promote an environment of continuous improvement for all business components under its charge. Successfully combining market and technical knowledge with effective management and leadership is central to achievement in this role.
This position will lead a team of 5 to 8 direct reports and a total domestic staff of 180 to 220 people. In addition this position will manage 40 to 60 international employees.
Ideal candidates will have 10 plus years of global supply chain, manufacturing exposure, product quality assurance, warehousing, facilities and distribution management. A background in managing an integrated global supply chain, distribution and manufacturing processes with strong business acumen are essential. Experience with consumer products, electronics, and big box retailers is ideal. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or other related discipline is required.
