In this newly created engineering leadership role, you will be accountable for building, scaling and optimizing a national operating model and technology platform supporting multiple Regions, Markets and Care Delivery Organizations (CDOs) across the country.
Core responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with key business and technology stakeholders
- Driving automation, modernization and simplification agendas, including migrating solutions to cloud-based platforms
- Leading engineering teams focused on data integration across internally developed applications and Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) software with both internal and external partners
- Assessing and recommending vendor products/tools
- Providing support and participation in development of business requirements (through the lens of Facets data integration) to ensure business needs are captured and delivered
- Building and developing agile engineering teams
- Defining and building integration solutions
- Participating in global and detailed design sessions
- Providing data sharing thought leadership for the organization
- Ensuring security, scalability, operational excellence and data sharing platform stability
- Collaborating with integration partners to define and evolve data sharing options
- Leading the overall delivery for data integration
- Creating written and oral communication materials that effectively summarize findings, support fact-based recommendations and provides appropriate detail to substantiate conclusions
- Maintaining work papers, project deliverables and other artifacts that can be leveraged as intellectual capital
- Performing project management duties including the creation of status reports, work plans and presentations
- Directing quality engineering, scalability and performance testing efforts
- Conducting research studies that may include collecting, analyzing, trending and presenting data and recommendations
- Developing financial models and tools, including cost-benefit analysis, resource utilization models and performance reports
Candidate will possess:
- 15 + years of direct experience leading technology organizations
- Demonstrated experiences in Systems Integration, Data Modeling/Data Management and Information Security
- 10 + years of healthcare systems experience
- 10 + years of project management experience, including proven success overseeing large projects/programs that require problem identification, data synthesis, creation of recommendations and implementation skills
- 5 + years of Agile development experience
- Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Track record of success integrating diverse organizations and leading performance improvement efforts
- History of success building, managing, developing and retaining high functioning teams
Desired experiences:
- Knowledge of healthcare core administrative systems and databases
- Provider, Clinical and/or Payer operations (Claims, Provider, Clinical, Product, Enrollment, Billing, Service, Care Management)
- Experience overseeing/leading global teams both on and offshore
- Cloud migration experience
