General Information:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Hitachi Energy Sales US, this role will foster and direct the implementation of strategic initiatives that align with behavioral objectives and sales strategies within the US sales organization. Design and drive best practice in sales processes working with external facing sales professionals to achieve targets, support sales data needs and provide innovative, effective tools and solutions to optimize effectiveness and efficiency. Provide the country analysis of sales organization performance through consolidated data gathering and review and will specifically support SVP of Sales to manage activities across own salesforce regardless of the next level coordination point. Lead the Sales Operations organization with a focus on longer term strategic planning and policy/process development with a clear focus on organizational leadership over subject matter experts. Collaborate with sales leadership to develop performance metrics that provide insights into sales planning, process and effectiveness of the US sales organization.
Your Responsibilities:
Critical link between business strategy and execution of sales force productivity and will be accountable and responsible for essentials functions including account review facilitation, planning, reporting, territory analysis, sales policy creation/governance and strive for a process-disciplined culture.
Keep leadership apprised of emerging trends and drive sales excellence and enablement.
Support team in defining & implementing processes, operational excellence methodology, tools, reporting, and documentation management. Examples include data quality management, customer satisfaction tracking, and competency assessments.
Manage and lead a team of sales operations professionals to ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives.
Partner with US Sales Managers within the team to drive process and support with critical sales data.
Strong focus on growing and developing direct reports.
Coordinate with the local business unit sales operations and BU sales leaders as needed.
Support deployment of voice of the customer (VoC) activities in US.
Drive strategic projects assigned by the SVP of Sales.

Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or technical field / advanced degree desirable; Equitable experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Minimum 10 years in related experience in Sales Analytics/Sales Operations required
Minimum 5 years personnel management experience
Proficient in Salesforce.com
