Seeking a seasoned Sales and Marketing Leader with experience in residential building products: decorative hardware, lighting, window and doors, electronic access, locks, smart home automation etc.

The Vice President of Sales and Marketing, US will lead the Company's North and Latin American sales and marketing efforts and will participate actively in worldwide sales, marketing and product development strategies.

The VP of Sales & Marketing is responsible for a team of (16) whose focus is 1) wholesale and retail manufacturers and distributors who supply mostly residential retailers, 2) commercially focused on architects, designers and contract dealers involved in commercial specification, 3) business development for specific product placement and channel opportunities and 4) the marketing manager with their support personnel.


  • Participation at a high level in the setting of overall company strategy
  • Preparing sales budgets and analyses for annual company budgets and any required reforecasts
  • Establishment of sales targets and monitoring of sales activities by each sales professional
  • Training and mentoring, as needed, of the sales groups and upgrading personnel as and where needed
  • Effective use of the Company's CRM program and assuring use thereof by all sales support personnel
  • Manage to the department's expense budget
  • Preparing analyses and reports as appropriate of customer, product and industry sales results and trends and narrating this information for senior and product management and deploying it for sales strategies
  • Regular travel (monthly) with sales personnel and visits with key customers
  • Maintain direct and regular relationships with key customers
  • Implementation of sales strategy to capture greater "wallet share" from existing customers
  • Developing a deep understanding of the different channels key to the company's future, including commercial, hospitality, retail, and the traditional wholesale channels
  • Executing marketing and communications strategies, plans and programs, both short and long term, to support regional branding and sales objectives
  • Developing tools to support the sales and business development teams in delivering on their sales objectives
  • Leading all marketing projects, events and activities, including trade shows
  • Working closely with the product management team to determine pricing and suggest new product development


  • 12 Years of experience
  • 6 Years Managing and Leading Others
  • Undergraduate degreerequired
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM and ERP systems, along with normal productivity software applications such as Excel, and high degree of analytical skills to leverage these tools
  • Demonstrated history of sales growth and scale success
  • Ability to be a strategic and tactical leader
  • Ability to work with all elements of the supply chain group to support their forecasting needs for purchasing, establishing freight programs for customers, accelerating the resolution of customer needs, etc
