The VP of Sales, New York is responsible for driving profitable growth through sales execution. This position reports to the President and will oversee the New York sales team which includes both Field and Inside sellers. These sales functions are responsible for selling Dstillery's full portfolio of audience solutions across both managed media and data syndication.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience building and managing world-class sales teams, a data driven mindset, a track record of inspirational and transparent leadership, and demonstrated success developing and delivering results in advertising and data sales environments. RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Participate as senior leader of the company in overall corporate strategy, planning and GTM execution.
  • Create a vision & roadmap for sales that supports company initiatives and inspires the team.
  • Collaborate with National Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and Product to ensure alignment & strategic GTM activities.
  • Recruit and retain top talent. Create career paths & work within organization toprovide opportunities for individual advancement.
  • Foster a culture of commitment, openness, collaboration and fun. Dstillery has an exceptionally cohesive team with widely varying backgrounds and tenures.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • At least 7 years of sales leadership experience leading a team of 10+.
  • Fluent in Salesforce & related sales productivity tools.
  • Experience with a product that has emphasis on at least one of: Data, AI or AdTech/MarTech.
  • Demonstrated team building and leadership skills. Has a history of developing high-performing sales talent..
  • Recognized and respected sales leader. Speaks authoritatively about sales methodology, culture, and strategy.
