Abeln, Magy, Underberg & Associates has been retained by a metal fabrication manufacturing company to assist in the recruitment of a Vice President, Sales and Marketing for their organization. The Vice President, Sales and Marketing is responsible for the strategic development and tactical execution of the goals and objectives of sales and marketing while ensuring full alignment with the company’s goals and objectives. She/he will provide leadership in identifying and developing new markets and customers to achieve business growth, and in charge of customer experiences related to corporate activities and in promoting the company’s brand. This position will be critical to supporting a doubling of the organization’s business over the next 5years. This position will require travel of 25% to 40%.


The ideal candidate for the position will have the following:


-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Marketing; MBA preferred

-Minimum of 10 years progressive business management and/or sales and marketing management work experience in manufacturing (business-to-business environment)

o Sales/management experience in consumer products, industrial and/or oil & gas industries strongly preferred

o Experience with engineered products required

-Direct management experience utilizing LEAN in Management, Marketing and Sales functions required

-Computer competency to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
