Vice President of Safety, Risk, Compliance and Human Resources: Reporting to the President of a well respected and established bulk carrier and based at their Corporate offices in the Midwest, operating from 15 locations with a fleet of over 200 tractors and approximately 500 trailers. This individual will lead all aspects of the safety, risk, compliance and Human Resources functions utilizing the quality process to enhance department performance and goals. The Vice President will provide the leadership on regulatory issues, training, loss prevention, loss control, and strategies to eliminate collisions, injuries and enhance safety programs. He/she will also lead the human resource staff/department.
This individual will working closely with company management to insure proper programs and procedures throughout the organization. They seek someone that can provides long and short-term direction needed to achieve department goals, has technical expertise on regulatory issues and can train/evaluate associates on safety, environmental and regulatory procedures.
