The portfolio manager will lead the portfoliomanagement function for Sustained Engineering (SE) within Global Technology Infrastructure. The main focus of the role is to

  • Align the SE portfolio to key strategic priorities
  • Provide a single view of the SE portfolio coordinated against a common set of standards that ensures delivery on commitments made
  • Focus on potential obstacles/ risks with clear mitigations strategies
  • Enable SE to quickly and easily understand the state of its project portfolio across investments and business as usual projects
  • Facilitate the adoption of an agile/iterative portfolio management and planning process
  • Provide insight on delivery status and ensure conscious alignment to our strategy
  • Manager regular review and re-balancing of initiatives and related funding to reflect the current priorities

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in portfolio management and annual planning
  • Proven ability to interface with senior management, providing guidance and exerting influence in a positive and constructive manner
  • Experience in developing, preparing, and delivering presentations to senior management
  • Strong experience in prioritization, process and problem analysis
  • Prior experience in planning, coordination and implementation and the ability to work across teams and functions to execute and deliver
  • Ability to accurately interpret business direction and clarify technology's alignment with stakeholder needs.
  • Detail oriented self-starter with strong conceptual, analytical, decision making, planning, time management and prioritization skills
  • Must be able to thrive under pressure; adhere to guidelines; and deal with competing priorities
  • Must be able to work within a global team in different time zones and/or be available during various time zones to participate in global meetings when scheduled
