Position Purpose: Oversee health plan operations and implement strategic improvement initiatives.
Oversee health plan Annual Operating Plan execution progress and drive improvement activities to achieve financial results
Direct health plan improvement initiatives to ensure value is delivered and risk is managed
Provide a communication vehicle to share operational best practices
Provide governance to health plan expansion activities and coordinate appropriate corporate resources to required markets
Work with Sr. Management and Corporate functions to highlight health plan issues and track resolution progress
Ability to travel and relocate for position and future opportunities
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field. Master's degree in Business or related field preferred. 8+ years of experience in operations, management, or administration in the Healthcare or Insurance industry. Project management experience and proven experience resolving business operations issues or leading initiatives to improve processes or enhance systems. Previous experience managing staff, including hiring, training, managing workload and performance.
