What does this role look like?

You will be responsible to direct the design, operation and improvement of the system that creates and delivers the organization's products or services. Oversee and adjusts processes and operations as necessary to ensure efficient and effective execution of policies and procedures. Participate in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of key business and performance goals, short- and long-term strategic planning and objectives, plans, budgets, programs and policies.

Some of your main responsibilities will be:

  • Engaging with the senior leadership team to develop plans to meet future business needs
  • Formulating training and incentive plans, efficient team structure and performance analytics
  • Maintaining profit margins according to established objectives and develop and/or maintain internal control systems to ensure accountability



  • Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, transportation or a related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education
  • 10 or more years of progressive responsibilities in the management of land and/or marine operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of TSA regulations and recent experience in negotiating rates with carriers

  • You prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines and budget.
  • You build relationships with both internal and external customers through administration of Company policies and/or collective bargaining agreements.
