Our initial products, the breakthrough Blaize Pathfinder and Xplorer hardware platforms, Blaize Picasso SDK, and AI Studio came to market in 2020 and are now in accelerated growth. We are looking for a highly driven sales executive to scale revenue growth in the multi-billion-dollar market for AI in industrial edge, enterprise, and automotive/mobility segments.
Our ideal candidate is a high-energy sales executive with a proven track record and deep experience leading business development and sales during the aggressive revenue growth phase of emerging technology companies. The Vice President, Sales will report to the CEO and play a key role in leadership development and achieving company commercial objectives. This is a newly created position to lead and build a high-velocity sales organization with the twin goals of seizing the substantial opportunity for Blaize products and to lead and pioneer the adoption of AI across a range of high-growth market segments.
The Vice President, Sales will champion all aspects of sales strategy creation and implementation, forecasting, sales account management, training, change management, and employee development. Other core components include developing go-to-market plans working closely with channels/partners including OEM/ODMs, ISVs, SIs, Professional Services organizations, and distributors.
This position requires close working relationships across functional areas including corporate and product marketing, finance, solution architects, field application engineers, and engineering, to drive the execution of aggressive revenue growth. The position requires knowledge of AI solutions at the Edge, including the ecosystems that transition solutions from the lab and into real-world production. The successful candidate will inspire confidence when working with senior-level executives, strategic decision-makers, category managers, and buyers both inside and outside the company.
Compensation will be structured with significant variable upside in both cash and stock, both of which are aligned with a focus on securing rapid design wins and revenue growth.
