The Vice President of Sales is part of the Executive Leadership Team responsible for creating, driving and directing the overall sales strategy for the entire company; conducting business development, creating action plans, overseeing the sales pipeline and leading the sales team.
We are looking for a unique professional who can create vision, set expectations and lead by example. We?re looking for a charismatic leader who enjoys developing employees, who thrives on generating new business all while improving existing relationships. This is not an individual contributor role, but jumping in and getting your hands dirty is acceptable and encouraged. We want a champion who loves to win.
? Coaches and empowers the sales team (inside sales, channel, account management) to achieve peak performance and meet objectives.
? Reviews and analyzes sales activities and forecast data to determine progress toward goals and objectives.
? Responsible for effectively and professionally building new, managing, and enhancing client relationships.
? Participate and execute on business development strategies, as well as leverage appropriate and available resources to target clients.
? Continually partner with Marketing to ensure sales and marketing materials are effective.
? Own the proposal writing process and engage with team members to contribute to building responses to all bid submissions.
? 5years of sales management experience with successful B2B solution selling.
? Proven track record increasing sales in technology or services field.
? Must be persuasive and trustworthy with the ability to develop relationships easily, as well as have the drive to lead a team towards long-term, multi-year business objectives.
? Must be organized, diligent, and comfortable supporting/providing thought leadership to executive-level management, as well as feeling confident interacting with all levels of a business.
? Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a sales organization.
? Demonstrated experience directly leading sales teams, with an impeccable ability to impact and influence through a collaborative approach.
? Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
? Must be open-minded and innovative, as well as adaptable and detail-oriented.
? Continue to generate 20-40% revenue growth yearly.
? Assertive, highly motivated with a sense of urgency.
? Ability to be flexible in your schedule.
