Advanced Technology Direction/Vision

?        Keep informed on emerging technologies that are relevant to Mindsight customers as well as market direction/inflection. Work with CTO, Sr. Management team and Owners to determine marketability, return on investment and financial feasibility of proposed solutions. Be aware of trends in the enterprise market that may in the future take hold in the mid-market.

?        Develop, Maintain, and Execute Strategy, Processes and Policies

Hiring

?        Submit job requisitions including justification, job description and criteria to Recruiting.

Training

?        Work with Corporate Training to ensure comprehensive technical and sales training for sales staff

?        Verification of Performance and Coaching

?        Verifying performance and providing performance coaching in a consistent, disciplined and timely manner is a primary responsibility. 

?        Significant time spent in reviewing data and carefully considering approach to deal with employee performance.

General Sales Management

?        Meet or exceed sales team commitments

?        Contribute to a collaborative, respectful, positive team spirit

?        Lead weekly sales meetings to discuss initiatives/issues, discuss month to date results, request commitments, and discuss major wins and losses, as well as new competitive intel.

?        Coordinate with marketing on all lead development and AE promotions and events, including deciding target, target messaging, co-writing scripts and collateral and support goal attainment on events

Administrative

?        Achieve 80% of annual MBO targets

?        Prepare for and attend Senior Mgmt. meetings to ensure cross-functional communication, coordination of current processes, people, solutions and new initiatives.

?        Follow processes and perform administrative tasks accurately and on time.

?        Review/submit Professional Development plans

?        Prepare departmental budgets

Vendor Relationships

?        Maintain high profile and communicate mission, values and initiatives

?        Keep abreast of new technology offerings (at a high level)

?        Ensure timely sales compliance with vendor certification requirements for all product and service offerings sold.

?        Develop strong relationships between sales team and vendor sales team

Required Skills and Expertise

?        3-5 year?s sales management experience

?        7+ years of software sales or managed services salesexperience

?        Proven management and organizational skills working in a growth company

?        Demonstrated success in coaching, training, and motivating teams, as well as successfully identifying talent

?        Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
