Vice President of Marketing and Sales
Qualified candidates must have a solid sales background, be self-motivated, comfortable on the phone, and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess or be willing to obtain one the following licenses, Series 7, 66, 24 and 53 within six months of employment.
The essential components of this position include:
Knowledge of the investment world, markets, and managedportfolios (SMA, stocks, ETFs)
Ability to successfully establish business-to-business relationships with independent financial professionals
Proactively build a book of advisors and assets under management
Existing assets and advisors may be assigned to you
Must be sales oriented, self-motivated and comfortable on the phone
Ability to multi-task and operate efficiently in high-volume entrepreneurial environment
Ability to collaborate/interact with multiple business structures (insurance, securities, income planning, etc.)
Works proactively to identify potential problems and compliance issues to maintain client satisfaction
Must be well organized and able to manage competing priorities
Previous work experience in the financial services and/or investment industry preferred
Securities registrations or designations preferred(Series 7/65/66, CFP, etc.)
Minimal travel is required.
This is a sales-oriented position and the right candidate will be able to rapidly build their book of advisors.
Salary plus variable comp commensurate with experience.
