QuickTrophy, LLC seeks a Vice President of Marketing and Business Development! Located on the southern shores of Lake Superior in Marquette, MI, QuickTrophy and its associated brands specialize in manufacturing personalized recognition products in our own factory. Customers and businesses from all over the country are able to order custom trophies, awards, medals, plaques, nametags, and office signs from our websites. Most notably, QuickTrophy's position in the markets we serve is driven on quick turnaround and exceptional service.

To be successful in this position you must have a proven track record of growing sales. We are looking for a growth-oriented Vice President of Marketing and Business Development to build a strong sales team and culture and participate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that increase revenues.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage QuickTrophy's brands and customer UX
  • Develop and implement sales strategy and processes
  • Build national and local direct sales teams
  • Ensure the sales team is working effectively with all parts of the organization
  • Grow sales with existing extensive customer base and generate new leads
  • Develop and manage a digital strategy
  • Build a sales funnel
  • Compile and evaluate data on new accounts, market trends and conditions, and competitive products and pricing

Compensation/Benefits: $80,000 to $100,000 starting annually, based on knowledge and industry experience, in addition to a benefit package which includes vacation time, simple retirement plan with company match, and profit sharing. The successful candidate will be a primary leader within QuickTrophy and will benefit directly through the company's continued growth through ownership.

What you need to succeed: This position demands excellent attention to detail, creativity, technical skills and product knowledge. In addition, the VP of Marketing and Business Development has the following requirements:

  • Exceptional relationship building, collaboration, management and communication skills
  • Desire to own, manage and grow a business
  • 5 yrs. experience in a lead strategic growth management position preferred
  • Background in e-commerce (SEO, digital marketing, drip campaigns, etc.) preferred
  • Background in custom manufacturing preferred
  • Background in B2B preferred
  • Strong sales professional with endless energy and drive to pursue sales
  • Business-minded w/proven success in managing a team, setting goals and holding people accountable
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Ability to be a personal contributor to the execution of the sales and marketing plan
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing and communications (development of ads, product promo pieces, sales support documentation)
  • Proficient with general office software and CRM
