  • Work with the CEO and CFO to develop and refine investor messaging in line with key corporate strategies and investor focus areas
  • Serve as the company's primary liaison with both sell side and buy side analysts, as well as portfolio managers or otherinvestment professionals on both the equity and debt markets
  • Manage the company's investor conference calendar and actively manage a schedule of periodic meetings and/or calls with key investors (including overseeing sell side analyst support in non-deal roadshows)
  • Plan the company's annual investor day and other analysts meetings or visits to company facilities, including coordinating with internal creative marketing teams on content development, and managing all logistics-related deliverables
  • Develop all press releases and presentation materials used for external investor communications, including both routine communications (e.g. quarterly earnings presentations) and topic-specific materials (e.g. investor roadshow materials, acquisitions announcements, etc.)
  • Monitor financial results and disclosures of other companies in our peer set, and prepare comparative analysis to key competitors
  • Monitor company investor activity and capital market developments across our sector and peer group, and provide regular updates to the Leadership Team and Board of Directors
  • Liaise with Business Unit Leaders and their respective leadership teams to monitor end-market dynamics and understand key business strategies, including ways to best communicate them externally
  • Train and coach members of senior management team for communicating to investor audiences where appropriate
  • Oversee the company's relationships with all third party IR/surveillance providers and the NYSE
  • Support the Treasurer as needed in communicating with debt ratings agencies
  • Very strong written and oral communications, at a level appropriate for communicating directly with a public company board of directors and large institutional investment firm audiences
  •  Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills at various levels in the organization; high level of executive presence
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop relevant presentation materials for a broad array of external audiences
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity, with a natural bias to dig deeply into market statistics, financial analysis, etc. in order to validate assumptions that support key investor messages
  • Very strong analytical skills, including highly proficient financial modeling skills
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multi-task with multiple large-scale projects at once
  • Ability to operate autonomously, and influence and leverage indirect resources as needed to complete projects on tight timelines
  • Strong working knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting and valuation analysis
  • Advanced PowerPoint development skills


  • BachelorDegree in Finance or Accounting; MBA and/or CPA is strongly preferred (CFA beneficial but not required)
  • 15+ years of business/ finance related experience, preferably with global industrial or manufacturing oriented organizations
  • 5+ years of recent experience working in an Investor Relations capacity within a corporate environment, preferably as either the senior-most IR professional in a mid-cap public company, or the #2 IR professional of a Fortune 500 manufacturing company
  • Experience presenting to investor and analyst groups
  • Prior experience in Treasury, FP&A, or as a senior financial leader in a business unit would also be beneficial but not required
