Seeking Vice President for Shared Services Claims department to execute claim policy, procedures and Claim Best Practices.

 

Responsibilities:

 

*** Manage a team of Claims Directors, Managers, and Adjusters by overseeing workflow, enhancing efficiencies, diminishing inefficiencies, and conducting system and process improvements.

 

*** Reduce staff turnover and participate in the recruitment and onboarding process.

 

*** Conduct Development Reviews and create developmental and skill building opportunities.

 

*** Manage all customer issues and delegate to appropriate individuals for quick and satisfactory resolution.

 

*** Establish and refine claim management program operating characteristics, measurement criteria, and meaningful metrics benchmarking.

 

*** Implement and monitors the execution of reserving and settlement policies.

 

*** Participate in and approve decisions on reserving and settlement on cases above field claim manager authority and enter reserves or checks as required, including cases involving large losses.

 

*** Plan, coordinate, and perform technical audits of field claim offices and third party administrators to measure compliance with company procedures, claim best practices, and reserving and settlement policy.

 

*** Create and implement business plans and annual budgets which include marketing, loss cost, and expense management.
