Position Summary - Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will build, lead and coach the US Inside Sales Team (10-12 early career professionals). You will serve as a business peer to the VP Management Team to promote a high-performing environment withother department participants, internal and external stakeholders.
? Builds, develops and manages inside sales team through entire sales cycle to meet/exceed initiatives and targets.
? Leads/develops/manages infrastructure/systems/processes to enable fully functioning sales team/rapid sales growth.
? Manages and reports the department's key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
? Partners with Marketing to inform and shape effective lead generation and revenue generation campaigns and programs, ?on brand? messaging to target markets and high performing sales and marketing collateral.
? Performs analyses and ad hoc reporting as necessary.
? Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
? Travel - typical interaction is through phone, email, and/or webinars. Travel may approach 60% a month in some months due to conventions/trade shows and customer feedback sessions. This will include international travel.
Education and Experience Required: A Bachelor?s Degree from an Accredited University (BA/BS) Marketing, Business, Communication, or technical concentration is required. An MBA is an advantage.
Sales Leadership ? 10 Years Sales Experience ? 3 Years Managing a m Inside Team of 10+ Professionals
? Demonstrated management maturity: 10 years salesexperience, combination of business to business inside, outside, channelsales and/or consulting. 3years sales leadership, with a minimum of 3years?experience building, leading, coaching a team of 8-20+ inside sales professionals in companies larger than $100MM as a Director of Inside Sales.
? Delivery of outstanding sales results against targets and sales-specific objectives.
? Expertise in inside selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning and execution, and employee motivation.
? Develop and implement quarterly & annual sales programs, promotions, plans & policies.
? Ability to drive business will highly affect employee morale, customer satisfaction and company image.
? Proven experience developing relationships with C-Suite.
? Executive level presentation skills. Ability to deliver compelling presentations to a variety of audiences including large conference and industry events.
? Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint, Keynote presentation and salesproductivity tools (CRM, Email Tracking, Social Selling, Sales Intelligence, Productivity Apps.)
Coaching and Mentoring
? Solid experience developing sales teams through the complete sales cycle process: lead generation, qualification, data collection, pricing, and presentations.
? Focus and train staff on pipeline management ? balancing sales activity through prospecting, identifying and qualifying customers via cold/warm calling to ensure consistent sales performance each month.
? Coach team on probing for business impact, uncovering multiple decision makers and closing multi-facility deals
? Proficiently articulate the features & business value of the entire product suite to prospects and customers.
? The effective use, workflow design, data and information integration, and management of CRM to increase the capability and success of sales force.
Metrics and Reporting Standards
? Develop a consistent /efficient reporting system for performance/production - pipeline, forecast, and customer acquisition cost.
Recruitment, Retention, Compliance
? On-going recruitment of professional salesassociates. Efficient and effective on-boarding of new hires.
? Maintain detail/timely documentation of associates performance, adhere to termination policies for HR/Legal.
? Demonstrated experience in corporate planning and strategic direction.
? Identify market drivers and modify plans to capitalize accordingly.
? Maintain a sharp external focus, stay out in front of industry practices, competitors and emerging best practices.
Marketing Alignment / Customer Segmentation
? Ability to understand and create optimal customer segmentation strategies.
? Able to drive appropriate go to market strategies and sales processes to maximize opportunities for the sales team across the entire range of the target market/customer base.
? Drive the local, regional and national brand awareness campaigns through saleschannels.
? Experienceworking withinternal Marketing Departments, Advertising Agencies and Brand Development Consultants.
? Understand the value of brand. Can communicate internally to pertinent key business collaborates, associates, subordinates and most importantly, externally to the customer
? Possess a strong strategic/analytical background with demonstrated experience in corporate planning and strategic direction and budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis.
? Attend networkevents, conferences and tradeshows to build new business relationships
? Develop, manage, and nurture new business partnerships to accomplish volume and profit goals
