We are seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to join a privately held manufacturing and technology company in Upstate, NY. Relocation assistance is available.
This is a global role where you will have end to end responsibility for Human Resources across multiple sites with an employee population of about 1,000.
Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President Human Resources will develop, structure, and operate an HR organization that is responsive to its people, forward looking and competent in every area of Human Resources. The Vice President will help focus HR on inclusion, trust, and transparency resulting in a culture of innovation and future-orientation.
A straightforward and foundational responsibility: Maintain a recruiting culture that identifies and recruits exceptional people for the company at all levels in all functions. Without talented, motivated people, any strategy will fail.
Performance Management/Employee Engagement:
High performance teams – a term that is used so much that it loses its meaning. Human Resources is responsible for developing and maintaining a culture that encourages individual development, a focus on the essentials and a bias for action and success. This requires the coordination and alignment of performance management systems, training, incentive plans, communication media and recognition.
