The Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for:

  • Assisting Senior Management on all HR issues
  • Overseeing all HR activities, such as: orientation and training; compensation; benefits; staff development; and, employee relations
  • Assisting Chief Program Officer with the recruitment and retention of staff
  • Handling other duties, as needed


  • 6+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Previous experience in a Leadership and/or Management role
  • Experience with Nonprofit organizations
  • Knowledge of Legal and Regulatory Labor requirements
  • Expertise with Budgeting, Financial Reporting and Allocating Agency Resources
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and Millenium systems
  • Microsoft Office/Suite proficient
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
