In this senior role, you will partner with business leaders in our Financial Services area to determine organization, talent and cultural implications of strategy. You will architect solutions in response to business strategies to achieve business results. You will be an active leader on both the Human Resource and Financial Services Leadership teams to assist in driving the transformation of Deluxe. In addition, this position will be a sought-out advisor for the financial services leadership team and will provide career development support across the financial services division including success planning, performance management, compensation advisement, leadership coaching, etc.
- Partners with business leadership to achieve business results by creating synergy and driving strategies throughout the organization and leveraging resources to support short and long-term objectives
- Leads and develops the financial services human resource team
- Drives change throughout the organization by focusing on strategies while providing metrics and performance measures
- Coaches business leaders to achieve business results and align leadership behaviors to the strategy
- Proactively analyzes and reviews business analytics and partners with others to translate data into actionable information to drive continuous improvements within the business
- Proactively identifies business solutions, issues and trends within the business and shared services to develop systems and solutions
- Determines organizational and human capital implications of the strategy(ies)
-Digital mindset (the ability to understand the power of technology to scale and speed up every form of interaction and action) – utilizing technology as a tool for exploration
-Experience with digital talent focused on designing, building, selling and implementing software-based solutions in multiple deployment models including on-premise, SaaS and BPO ideally in the financial services industry
-The ability to be agile and adjust to rapidly changing or ambiguous situations
-Proven experience supporting merger and acquisition activity
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field required, M.B.A. highly preferred
-Minimum of 15 years experience in human resources including 8 of the total years in a leadership role managing direct reports in a business services environment
-Experience participating on a senior leadership team providing human resources leadership to business partners to align with goals and strategies of the organization
-Proven experience with succession planning, performance management, culture change, career development, senior leadership coaching, etc. required
-Demonstrated knowledge of human resources which includes leveraging the company’s resources, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, performance reviews, employment law, and employee relations
-Demonstrated experience partnering with the leadership of a corporation, division, and/or functional areas of a company to drive change such as transitioning cultures, mergers, acquisitions, reorganization, etc.
-Must be process oriented and understand how to leverage resources across the enterprise to ensure the company operates efficiently and effectively and supports growth. The ideal candidate would have experience in a company that has implemented lean concepts
-Direct experience developing/implementing programs to attract, retain, develop and motivate talent within the business and drive team and organizational performance
