Our client is a global Fortune 500 company looking for a key leadership role as they are establishing a new operation in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Main responsibilities

  • Provides Procurement leadership, expertise and best value solutions to the Global organization on all direct and indirect purchasing and Capital Investment (>300M)
  • Leads the Commodity and Operations teams (approx. 50 people) to ensure implementation on time of savings & Payment Term improvements, as well as service level follow-up
  • Develops robust Commodity strategy with strong supplier panels with consideration to quality, cost, speed and service requirements, market conditions, risks and exposures, competitive landscape, and projected changes over the strategic planning horizon
  • Understand it?s internal customers? needs and create strong MOS and metrics to measure satisfaction.
  • Understands Global industry trends, suppliers? capabilities, and overall has the supply chain expertise to supports sub-commodities projects
  • Identifies and drives the team to cost reduction opportunities, cash improvement, recognized and reported by Businesses Procurement Partners
  • Supports/leads Buying Team members in their productivity/cash projects
  • Sources and negotiates Countries, Regional & Global agreements with suppliers to support the Procurement/function strategies
  • Supports suppliers and Functional transformation team in the Honeywell digitization plan
  • Develops metrics to analyze and measures the supplier performance
  • Lead Supplier Quarterly Business reviews in collaboration with internal customers/key stakeholders
  • Is proficient in procurement tools and processes necessary to manage assigned commodities
  • Maximizes use of electronic procurement tools, where applicable & drive the accuracy of the tool information

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years?experience in Global Procurement
  • Indirect organization deployment experience is a plus
  • Provides leadership in areas of Commodity supply management decision-making
  • Drives to achieve /exceed goals, steadfastly pushes self and others for results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master degree in engineering or business disciplines (MBA would be considered as a plus)
  • Change agent, self-starter; results orientation
  • Ability to work in a Global organization undergoing transformation
  • Strong comprehensive technical knowledge of procurement/sourcing; experience in outsourcing critical services from within the company to third-party providers; planning, negotiations and agreements/contract management
  • Knows how business works; knowledgeable in policies, practices and industry trends in assigned category area and can quantify potential impacts to business results
  • Strong experience/knowledge of CST Industry and Markets
