Strategy

  • Creates an Enterprise Business System strategy that aligns and delivers to business growth objectives, customer requirements, and high value business propositions
  • Drives the creation, oversight, and management of a rolling 12-18-month plan which leads service transformation alignment to the enterprise strategic direction of an accelerated, high growth company
  • Develops and delivers a future state roadmap which provides our customers with industry leading technology tools, processes, and solutions

 

IT Program Management Office

  • Drives and implements an IT Program Management Office framework for IT Project delivery that aligns with Enterprise Program Management Office initiatives and key business priorities
  • Creates standard processes and mechanisms to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of project delivery within budget, scope and target timelines
  • Builds a team of highly skilled project managers that can be leveraged efficiently across the various priority projects within the enterprise
  • Establishes business metrics, target outcomes, and key dashboards that ensure Executives, Business Owners, and Key Stakeholders are informed of project status, deliverables, risks, and escalations as necessary

 

Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence

  • Works with Executives, Operators, and Key Business Stakeholders to define business driven metrics and analytics required to make sound business decisions
  • Provides leadership and direction to the technical team accountable for data extraction, correlation, aggregation, user consumption and reporting capabilities that aligns to current and future state business requirements
  • Build and develop a highly effective team which will iteratively grow, mature, and evolve business data functions to ensure accurate and timely access to data as well at future data enrichment capabilities
  • Aligns with Business Executive to provide leadership for the Development of key management and operational dashboards to ensure Business metrics, KPIs, and indicators are supported

 

Enterprise Business Systems and Integration

  • Provide the future state strategy and delivery roadmap for all current and future state Business Systems capabilities, System Integration Platforms, and Data Services that align to the annual business plan and priorities
  • Create efficient and effective build and delivery roadmaps that evaluate Return on Investment models and scenarios while balancing sequencing, prioritization, and resources needs to maximize results
  • Create means to attain, track, and publish results that are consistent, measurable, and beneficial to internal and external customers
  • Build, develop, and scale high performing teams by leveraging development skills (build) and technology /supplier innovators (buy) where feasible to ensure innovative speed to market solutions

 

Technology Innovation

  • Create an working culture, atmosphere, and team structure to ensure focus on innovation led solutions
  • Collaborate with our internal Product teams to align on innovative product solution while leveraging emerging technologies to create product and overall market leadership for Accounts Payable / Payment Service Solutions
  • Partner with engineering and development teams to create innovative ways to scale, accelerate, and automate services to ensure timely product delivery and creates competitive advantages of speed to market delivery
  • Create a deliberate and effective strategy that leverages industry third party partners and vendors to provide innovative solutions

  • Serves as an advocate of his/her business stakeholders into IT and helps evangelize the role of IT and technology back to the business
  • Proficient in understanding of technology directions, trends and strategic business impacts
  • Proven ability to lead the strategy, execution, and delivery of Enterprise Business Systems and Application solutions for Finance, Treasury, HR, Sales, CRM, and Marketing functions
  • Ability to lead the definition and prioritization of business current state and future state business metrics while aligning with the business to create a proper governance and data stewardship steering committee
  • Ability to build future state Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence capabilities that will help drive the business forward
  • Ability to prioritize, fund, and sequence the build, upgrade, and maintenance of new or existing platforms that span Master Data, Integration, and Product Platforms during an a period of high growth and acceleration of Technology Solutions
  • Ability to work with Executives and Senior Leaders to collaboratively create future strategies, Long Range Plans, and roadmaps that align to business priorities
  • Ability to present ideas, solutions, and options to leadership that outlines options, cost benefits, and overall Return on Investment periods for recommended technology investments
  • Ability to build high performing teams that can estimate, build, and deliver technology solutions through an IT Program Management Office utilizing best practices for Program/Project management planning and execution
  • Demonstrated ability and skills to ensure adherence to industry compliance and regulatory requirement through building teams, processes, and control functions that effectively identify and remediate gaps
  • Ability to create, manage, and maintain project financial and budget forecasts while providing quantitative explanations and options in relation to variances and/or risks
  • An attitude and aptitude for fast learning of a complex and evolving business environment; strong business acumen
  • Ability to serve as a change agent and influence business direction
  • Ability to work matrixed environment where role and resources are broadly distributed. Must be effective at managing resources in a dual-report and matrixed structure.

 

Experience

 

  • BS or BA degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • MBA or equivalent Executive higher education degree preferred
  • 15+ years of overall technology industry experience or departments supporting technology solutions
  • 10-15 years of experience in leading strategy, selection, implementation, and operational management of technology platforms, services, and tools
  • 10-15 years of leadership responsibilities including organizational design, recruitment, and building of highly effective teams
  • 8-10 years of experience planning, organizing, developing, managing and leading large-scale, cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated delivery of technology solutions within a high growth, accelerated business delivery model
  • Demonstrated ownership, experience, and results in managing large scale IT programs and projects through a Program Management Office framework
  • Proven experience transforming disparate business and data platforms into a cohesive enterprise platform while maintaining the appropriate uniqueness required by business units to support operations
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing technology platforms, tools and solutions across geographical and/or industry vertical environments
  • Experience leading successful IT or Product teams; serving on a leadership team, resource management, people management, and organizational analysis
  • Experience in optimizing business systems, platforms, applications, and data through operational analysis and rationalization opportunity activities through execution and business benefit realization
  • Demonstrated understanding and delivery of balanced IT scorecards, spanning operations, project delivery, and business metric achievements
  • Experience in leading exploratory due diligence and merger and acquisition activities from a business and technology practice
  • Demonstrated experience in leading effective change management transformation and service transition across a large-scale enterprise environment
  • ITIL and PMP Certification preferred.
