About Corporate Marketing:
Gartner equips business leaders with indispensable insights, advice and tools to achieve their mission-critical priorities steering them toward the right decisions on the issues that matter most. Our Corporate Marketing team plays an integral role in fueling Gartner’s growth by building the Gartner brand and digital experience, partnering with sales to drive leads, and converting prospects into Gartner clients.
The Vice President of Digital Experience will be the champion for the strategic evolution and growth of Gartner’s public facing digital ecosystem, including Gartner.com. Impact and success in this role will be measured by the ability to lead and influence programs that drive leads, promote registrations, and engage target audiences with both existing and new, innovative digital assets.
Successful candidates will have 10+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or digital product development, with at least 3 levels in a leadership role.
What You Will do:
Establish and promote the digital strategy of an adaptive, modern Gartner.com that delivers on a diverse set of business needs
Establish a clear audience and/or segmentation hierarchy and promote digital evolution of Gartner digital properties based on customer journeys
Promote an optimization mindset, initiating a continuous release approach to improving key site elements (registration, downloads, etc) to drive incremental revenue
Define, develop and deploy personalization programs that drive engagement and increased conversation among key audiences
Oversee content publishing practice (AEM) that supports marketing campaigns and migrates digital properties as needed
Oversee and develop UX as a practice that is deployed across all marketing activities, partnering with in-house digital creatives, media buyers, and marketing associates to create outstanding end user experiences
Establish clear objectives and success metrics
Direct performance measurement, reporting, and analysis
Lead strong collaboration and partnership across business units outside of Corporate Marketing, including Product, Sales, and Recruiting
Lead, motivate, and develop team of managers and individual contributors, continuously improving the team’s influence and impact with executives and senior leaders
What You Will Need:
Expertise in creating and promoting a digital experience road map and/or strategy that balances user needs with business objectives
Experience leading teams and cultivating future leaders in a high-performing, goal-oriented environment
Strong partnership skills and ability to seamlessly work across reporting lines with cross functional groups
Excellent analytical and communication skills, particularly in the ability to analyze Web data and use it to communicate performance and identify opportunities
Successful track record of managing large projects, often two or more simultaneously, under tight timelines
Experience tracking emerging trends in user behavior and developing UX to serve user needs
Experience with personalization engines and/or segment-driven digital marketing
Demonstrated track record of leading/influencing diverse stakeholders toward a common solution
Big picture thinking complimented by detail orientation
Strong problem-solving skills
Experience overseeing large departmental budgets
Prior experience with Adobe Experience Manager a plus
