Description

Aggressively manage and settle approximately 2,200 to 2,500 Property & Casualty claims per year, $3 million to $4 million paid expenses, and 30 to 50 lawsuits per year generated by business underwritten by any of the three Church Insurance Companies while managing Loss Adjustment Expenses cost- effectively and in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS

MA preferred or combination of BA/BS and experience. Insurance designation (e.g. CPCU) or coursework preferred. Minimum of 20years of casualty claim experience in a P&C insurer with responsibility for complex commercial claims handling. Excellent knowledge of insurance coverages, investigative techniques, and legal precedents. Excellent knowledge of standard commercial insurance policies including property, general liability, D&O, EPL, and umbrella liabilityrequired. Prior claim handling experience for D&O/EPL claims is desirable. At least 15years of experience directing or coaching other casualty case managers. Well-developed attorney management skills involving large, complex claims in a range of jurisdictions. Familiarity with alternative resolution approaches. Intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Office. Possess patience and sensitivity to operate effectively in a church organization. Ability to travel approximately 30% annually.
