MedEdicus LLC is a growing medical education company developing innovative and effective CME/CE activities. We are looking for a highly-motivated team member to lead and participate in content-related aspects of the business. The ideal candidate has significant experience developing high quality content for CEM/CE actives, possesses a scientific or medical background, and has a desire to contribute to the growth of the organization.

Content Development

  • Direct agenda/content development and faculty recruitment for active projects working with medical writers and editorial team members; includes content writing of manuscripts and slides.
  •  Assess and work withfaculty and peer reviewers to ensure content for high quality educational standards including scientific quality, fair balance, and achievement of objectives        
  • Complete content-related components of accreditor applications

Outcomes: Develop outcomes measurements plans; evaluate and complete outcomes reports and present reports to grantors.

Business Development: Participate in grant development planning/strategy/execution including: 

  •   Development of Needs Assessments by conducting research and managing appropriate resources for gap analysis

Faculty and Partner Relationships: Maintain current relationships and cultivate new relationships with faculty and partner organizations such as accreditors and societies

CME Industry Standards:  Keep abreast of CME standards, trends, and attend educational conferences.  


Effective Adult Education:  Keep abreast of adult learning principles; work with outside consultants as necessary; incorporate principles into program content and formats. 


Organization: Support team as needed in scientific and education aspects of day-to-day operations. Supervise staff/direct reports.  Contribute to overall organizational efficiencies and quality processes and other duties as required.


Background and Skills

  •               Advanced degree in healthcare or science field (PhD, PharmD)
  •               Science, medical education, pharma or clinical work/experience 
  •               5 or more years experience working in the CME enterprise
  •               Excellent writing skills
  •               Experience working on projects with timelines and budgets
  •               Ability to handle tight timelines and competing priorities
  •               Excellent communication skills including ability to present to small groups
  •               Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point (including use of graphs, tables, etc), Acrobat; Bibliographic software experience a plus
  •               Ability to independently research new topics using online resources
  •               Ability to analyze and synthesize complex data to support educational objectives
  •               Familiarity with principals of adult learning
  •               Familiarity with AMA Style a plus
  •               Ability to work remotely and maintain consistent lines of communication with other team members
  •       Knowledge of FDA, OIG, ACCME guidelines

$100K - $150K
$100K - $150K base, excellent medical, 401k plan bonus
