TheVice-President of Internal Operations, LTC is responsible for providingday-day-support and developing / delivering long-term strategies and processimprovements to drive strong service, quality and productivity outcomes.Achieving this requires a strong leader with both a near-term and a long termview. This individual will lead a teamof ~60 colleagues responsible for both management of operational supportprocess as well as development of on-going operational improvements. Additionally,this leader will have responsibility for the oversight and execution ofOmnicare’s Large Account onboarding and Acquisition Integration – a criticalelement for capturing growth.
This individual hasownership over all activities related to the operational design, testing, launch,and support of all operational process and programs. The leader will interfacewith executive leaders and functions across the company including, sales,account management, finance, technology, and compliance, to ensure Long-termCare Operations are designed to and deliver against key business priorities. Heor she will serve active role on the CVS Omnicare Leadership team and willpartner with the President of Omnicare, the Chief Operating Office of Long-termCare and key business partners to develop strategiesthat will enhance the business metrics, especially the patient and facilityexperience.
Successfullydelivering pharmaceutical services to the long term care market requirescareful orchestration and mastery of complex processes. The overarchingobjective of our pharmaceutical services is to maximize the positive impact wehave on our patients by delivering quality clinical outcomes with the optimalcustomer experience. It is important to ensure high quality of service for ourclients who care for these patients each and every day.
-Developand execute short and long term strategies for operations across theorganization; addressing operational scalability, service levels, productivity,and colleague development, with a focus on continually improving customerservice levels and the execution of core operational process within our 150locations
-Monitornear-term current business trends to develop and implement near-term actions toensure delivery against key business and financial outcomes
-Leadteam responsible for redefining Omnicare’s operational process, systems andpeople strategy to optimally align with the Senior Livings and Assisted Livingmarket, in order to allow Omnicare to effectively compete in this growingmarket and better serve our patients needs
-Collaborate and influence key LTC retail leadersincluding the Vice Presidents-Operations, Sales-Account Management and Clinicaland other peers and senior leaders to ensure alignment and support of keyinitiatives. Act as a operational owner to determine relevance and filterstrategies/programs/proposals from other departments.
-Overseeexecution of process design and execution of all large account onboardingprocesses and Acquisition Integration to optimize customer and colleagueexperience and maximize customer retention
-Buildand lead a high performing team to execute all elements of the LTC businessplans/objectives. Ensure the team is patient focused, results driven andmaintains industry leading subject area expertise in their respective areas.
-Deep understanding of the pharmacy business, including retail, PBM or LTC
-Strong operational and financial acumen
-Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and key
-Demonstrated ability to understand and break down highly complex situations to deliver impactful solutions
-Demonstrated track record of building high performing teams and developing key talent
-Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization, up to and including the President of
Retail and CEO
-Able to think strategically and understands how to leverage enterprise resources and
impact enterprise results
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business or Healthcare
