The Vice President, Human Resources will play an integral role as a member of the executive leadership team. The role will identify, develop and deploy business-driven HR strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain key people while creating a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving the business objectives and action plans.

The Vice President, Human Resources position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management teams to achieve growth for the organization. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicating needs proactively between leadership and business unit management and HR. The Vice President, Human Resources seeks to develop integrated solutions and maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit?s financial position, its long-term plans and its culture and competition. 

This role also provides organization development and effectiveness expertise to increase the capabilities of individuals, teams and business operations by leveraging best practices around change management, talent development, leadership development and employee engagement.  

The Vice President, Human Resources will report directly to Senior Vice President, Human Resources as a member of the leadership team. This position will support the janitorial field operations employees in California as well as the corporate headquarters employees from a human resources perspective.

Specifically, this role is responsible, in concert with executive operations leadership, for hiring the proper HR talent; acts as employee advocate for California employee populations, and supports an environment that creates positive morale and service for all employees. This individual will focus on achieving a high level of service across the company. He/she oversees the key functions of employee relations, staffing, recruitment, training, organizational development, internal communications, safety and legal compliance.
