Description As the Vice President, Human Resources, this role is part of the senior leadership team of the Club. The incumbent will provide strategic leadership, direction and daily operational oversight to all facets of people and organizational development. Key areas of contribution include: cultural transitions, business partnering, total compensation strategies, talent acquisition, skills development, employee engagement, organizational design and development, safety, and HRIS systems.
Directs the strategy and operationalization of the various professional disciplines within the Human Resources Department, ensuring that all projects, activities and initiatives are integrated and effective in supporting the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the organization. Development and achievement of the HR Department performance metrics, data reporting and analytics and maximizing people strategies will guide the mission of the group.
Establishes and implements short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement.
Minimum of 15 years’ leadership experience in Human Resources with recent experience supporting a large, multi-business, multi-location matrix organization.
The ideal candidate will have recent benefits related experience in health and welfare plans; retirement/401(k) plans; automation; external business partners; HRIS systems, reporting and analytics and compliance.
Broad HR experience in all functional areas including compensation; total rewards; business partnering and problem solving, employee relations; HR processes and operational efficiency; employment law; talent acquisition, safety; employee communications.; learning & development.
Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to complex people-oriented business challenges. Track record of success in aligning the Human Resources activities and programs to support strategic business objectives.
Enthusiastic team player who enjoys both strategic and hands on work
Bachelor’s degree required. MBA and HR certification highly desirable.
