Provides leadership and strategic direction of operations and management of home care across the system for Baptist Health, for areas such as home health, hospice, and home infusion. Responsibilities include clinical, financial, operational and personnel management. Strategically aligns business unites vertically and horizontally across the system in collaboration with the AVP, Post-Acute Care and other operations leaders to support strategies to drive success. Ensures the delivery of high quality, cost effective clinical care for patient populations served by Baptist Health. This position identifies and leads Home Care in each market and pursues new business development opportunities. This position also ensures highly productive relationships and partnerships for the benefit of the health system. Develops, implements and manages a comprehensive program that ensures goals and objectives of the organization are met in accordance with its standards, policies and regulatory requirements.
The VP Home Health leader is accountable for overall Home Care organizational performance. The VP participates in and nurtures broad networks of alliances with others, both internal and external to Baptist Health, to promote home care as part of a continuum of services for high quality, value driven patient care services.
