Higginbotham & Associates, a Top 25 national insurance broker has an exciting opportunity to join their Financial Services & Corporate Benefits Division as Vice President, Employee Benefits Operations. Working closely with regional and executive managers, you manage all non-sales activity and personnel. The agency is rapidly expanding in every department, organically and by acquisition, including this division which has the largest focus on employee benefits services but also includes life, executive comp, wealth management, retirement services, HR services and admin. Such exponential growth increases the need for your expertise to be dedicated to key areas such as client management, service deliverables, technology, employee development, operations and best practices.
From the outside, the benefits division looks sizable with teams in multiple offices in multiple states. However, look a layer deeper and you’ll find a culture built on small, close knit teams where each person, no matter the position, is involved in the day-to-day activities of the business. To be successful in this role, you need a similar ‘in the weeds’ management philosophy.

3. Organizational Planning: Participate in strategic planning initiatives. Communicate updates and results on key initiatives. Work with regional leaders and the executive team members to share best practices and other resources.
Location: This position is based in Ft. Worth. Relocation assistance is available.
Characteristics and Traits: This is a multi-faceted position, and you’ll be asked to troubleshoot short-term issues while also preparing to scale operations based on future growth projections. Successful management experience in key areas such as these is required:
