The open position is for a Vice President based in Houlihan Lokey’s Atlanta office who will be dedicated to the Financial Advisory Services business’s growing Transaction Advisory Services practice, with responsibilities in Tax & Financial Reporting (TFR).
The TFR Valuation practice assists clients across a wide range of industries with purchase price allocation analyses, goodwill impairment issues, equity, debt, and asset valuations in connection with corporate restructurings, stock and stock option valuations, and a variety of other valuation needs related to tax planning and/or financial reporting.
The TFR-dedicated Vice President in our Financial Advisory Services business will be a fully integrated member of engagement teams, which can range in size from two to five members and comprise a combination of Managing Director, Director, Senior Vice President, Vice President, Associate, and Financial Analyst. As a Vice President, your primary activities will include overall project management; presenting analyses and conclusions internally to review committees and externally to the senior management, auditors, and tax advisors of clients; acting as the lead professional on engagements—managing the day-to-day tasks of projects and serving as a principal contact with client personnel; managing client deliverables; reviewing valuation and other financial models; leading due diligence meetings; directing the efforts of Associates and Financial Analysts; negotiating engagement documents; leading and assisting with sales and marketing initiatives; networking with prospects to build revenue producing relationships; and business development.
We are looking for a senior manager-level professional with experience in valuation and business development.

The ideal candidate should be motivated, creative, outgoing and possess strong skills in overall project management, leading, managing, performing financial analysis, and business development. Candidates must have a strong knowlege of accounting and applied financial theory, keen analystical capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
ASAs, CPAs, and CFAs are preferred. Ideal candidate will have experience as a consulting/audit firm manager providing valuation opinions. Big 4 experience a plus.
