Description

As a Vice President on our Business Risk & Intelligence team, you will have the opportunity to examine issues, events, individuals and groups at an in-depth level using tools typically employed by political strategists to inform the overall crisis management approach of protect, promote and engage.

Critical components of the position include knowing where to look, what to find and how to interpret the information. Your analysis and counsel will provide clients the insight necessary to prepare in advance for a potentially harmful scenario, lead the dialogue, rebut inaccuracies, generate balanced coverage and inform their strategy moving forward.

You will manage a multitude of crisis and risk scenarios on a global level including:

•Academic style reports or studies

•Ad campaigns

•Boycotts

•Inaccurate or negative news, reports, documentaries or movies

•Activist, labor and corporate campaigns

•Lawsuits

•Legislative and regulatory battles

•Petition drives and letter campaigns

•Social mediacampaigns

•Messaging, spokesman and executive vetting

Responsibilities:

•Compile background reports and screenings on individuals, NGOs and corporations

•Conduct in-depth research on issues and policies

•Provide litigation support to ensure credibility or evidence, testimonies, witnesses and other parties and information

•Delve into investigative intelligence from public records spanning financial, criminal, legal and regulatory documents

•Conduct vulnerability and risk studies, social media and digital research, third party and individual vetting

•Work with colleagues to cultivate new business

Qualifications:

•A demonstrated track record in managing crises and complex, high-risk assignments    

•Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, including an aptitude in assessing and prioritizing incoming assignments, managing competing deadlines, and a willingness to work demanding hours as needed  

•Experience working with legal teams 

•Entrepreneurial spirit, can-do attitude and ability to collaborate with colleagues across the network    

•Poise and confidence to hold your own with senior executives and boards   

•Attention to detail is a must  

•A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience    

•A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as English, Journalism or Political Science
