Summary: 

The Vice President, Business Development is responsible for new sales growth in the Northeast United States (PA, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME) to prospective clients and a defined “book” of existing clients.

Responsibilities:

The Vice President will assume primary responsibility for generating new sales leads, managing C-suite level relationships, and assuring the highest level of value to the client. Product responsibility will include Sg2 EDGE systems for analytics, intelligence, and consulting, with a particular emphasis on adding new client relationships. The Vice President will work with our sales support team, our field service organization and our team of experts in consulting, strategy, and performance, to further develop the territory’s business. This role affords high performing sales professionals the opportunity to partner with leading organizations and health care executives to address today’s challenges and the satisfaction of working with them to improve performance and maximize growth.

Qualifications:

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a consistent record of professional and personal achievement. Creativity, initiative, resourcefulness and an entrepreneurial spirit are a must, in addition to the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or better preferred

  • 15+ years of relevant sales experience in health care vendor or consulting space; excellent track record for generating new business and engaging at C-suite level within hospital providers

  • Established network in the Northeast US with large hospital systems

  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills as demonstrated by the ability to synthesize research, identify and fulfill value propositions, and achieve actionable results

  • Ability to meet aggressive revenue targets

  • Effective marketing and communication skills

  • People management and client relationship skills

  • Dedication to teamwork

  • Willingness to travel

  • An uncompromising commitment to quality and a passion for health care
