The Vice President, Brand Performance is a results-driven position with success measured by hotel and brand performance metrics. The leader will be responsible for driving the success of the overall Cambria brand through unit level property performance initiatives as well as the identification and implementation of operational policies and procedures for consistent execution across the portfolio. The leader must be effective in building relationships across multiple internal and external stakeholder groups to identify and implement areas for continued brand and category growth at both the top line and GOP levels. The role will be responsible for Management Company certification, selection and partnership in achieving business and brand objectives.
The successful leader will have metric accountability for portfolio performance including guest satisfaction, Owner retention, total revenue, RPI and GOP. The position will work across the matrixed organization in partnership with Revenue Management, Loyalty, Marketing, Technology, Procurement and Distribution to drive overall revenue growth, including F&B. The role will work with the Business Intelligence Group (BIG) to develop performance metrics and data capture aligned with Choice Hotels’ strategic objectives. The role will be responsible for ongoing, continuous improvement of the brand experience for guest impact and retention, financial performance and operational consistency.
Additionally, for wholly-owned hotels, accuracy of forecasting revenue and operating costs – including costs below GOP to EBITDA—and all capital planning are priorities.
