GDT Manufacturing (GDT-MFG) provides custom, high quality, copper, and fiber-optic patch cords for connectivity solutions such as ESCON, FICON, SAN, LAN, WAN and DWDM to name a few. GDT-MFG has a staff of team members with over 25 plus years of experience. All GDT-MFG products are made in the USA.

GDT-MFG is now offering an opportunity for an experienced and industry-connected Account Manager to join our very accomplished Sales Team. This role will focus on new business development and account management for our current book of local, regional, and national customers

GDT-MFG is a sales-centric company which offers excellent work environment, strong partner and customer references, top tier products, and a motivating commission structure. We are in a hyper-growth mode and looking for someone who can help take us to that next level.

Accomplishments and Competencies:

  • 5+ years' outside sales experiencerequired in Datacom industry, preferably focused on networkinfrastructure solutions (copper, fiber, cabinets, rack systems, power, cooling, etc.).
  • Preferable experience either selling for or selling into distribution companies such as Graybar or Anixter.
  • Highly self-motivated, generates and pursues their own leads with verifiable success in developing new markets and winning new logos.
  • Independent and organized, processes own quotes and proposals on most occasions.
  • Able to stay on top of new products and industry trends.
  • BICSI Certification major plus, not required.
  • Ability to leverage existing relationships to establish new business opportunities for GDT-MFG.
  • Exceptionally ambitious and sales-centric with the inherent need to exceed expectations aka "Coin Operated".
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build client rapport, leading to long lasting relationship and referrals.
