Nextdoor is where neighbors turn for trusted connections and the exchange of helpful information, goods, and services.
Building connections in the real world is a universal human need. That truth, and the reality that neighborhoods are one of the most important and useful communities in our lives have been guiding principles for Nextdoor. Today, neighbors rely on Nextdoor in neighborhoods around the world in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Australia and Canada, with many more to come.
Meet your Future Neighbors
Content strategists at Nextdoor represent the voice of our neighbors — and our brand. You’ll be a part of the team that designs digital experiences that empowers neighbors to build stronger communities. You’ll transform how people connect with their neighborhoods, and each other. In this role, you’ll craft and deliver the content that drives new experiences across multiple platforms, and you’ll work cross-functionally to shape the future of the Nextdoor product as we continue to grow.

Please include a link to your work samples / portfolio in addition to your resume and cover letter.
You’ll drive the evolution of our brand voice in product, speaking in a way we hope neighbors speak to each other and sparking the connections and inspiration for better neighborhoods everywhere.
You’ll envision, write, and ship the copy for delightful, user-centered, cross-platform experiences that are the fabric of local communities around the globe.
You’ll be involved in all aspects of the product development for a major product area; from strategy, research, journey-mapping, to final QA and copy tweaks right before launch (and iteration thereafter.)
You’ll participate in cross-functional brainstorms, discussions, design reviews and interesting and inspiring design team activities.
You’ll be a steward of our brand voice and company style guide for copy.
