Our client is a worldwide financial firm, they re currently seeking a UX Java Developer to join their Wealth Management Americas (WMA) Technology team to focus on the new multi-yeartechnology initiative to revamp and enhance their Field Technology platform. It is a development Tech Lead role that will entail working with teams in US, Poland and Hungary, and other partner teams in multiple geographic locations around the world.


  • Design of the overall architecture of web application for delivering on the business needs
  • Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements
  • Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application


  • 10+ years of solid experience in web development in a large enterprise environment
  • Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming (Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring WS, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP, myBatis/JDBC, Redis or a similar distributed Java caching framework)
  • Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors (Less, Sass)
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS, BackboneJS, etc.
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, Highcharts, D3.js, etc.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git, SVN)
  • Familiarity with development aiding tools (such as Task Automation, Testing Frameworks, Package Management, Component Management)
  • Hands-on technical experienceworking with both onshore and offshore developers
