What You’ll Get to Do:

We are searching for an amazing UI/UX Designer with a strong design background to join a fast passed, highly dynamic development team, to help refine and improve an already established and highly utilized tool suite.  This tool suite has a large and diverse user group within the real-time/near-real-time tactical mission and intel communities. We are looking to continue our community standard setting development by not only continuing to integrate new technologies but to also continue to develop the overall look and feel of the applications (UI/UX). Our users’ experience has been key to our success but as the tool suite grows so does the need for a more refined interface that can support both basic and advanced users in clear and intuitive ways. Developing and setting in place long-term goals, designs, and an overall unified user experience is a top priority to our team as we continue to add new capabilities and tool for our users.

More About the Role:

You will thrive working in a team environment and would be able to help support the team in development of wireframes, mockups, custom icons, color palettes, some supporting presentation & marketing materials, documentation and mapping of UI/UX goals, and requirements mapping support to leadership. This candidate should also be able to help support the team with customer presentations and briefings supplying supporting data and answering questions on UI/UX designs. The candidate will also help collect and refine user feedback into clear and actionable design updates or new development ideas.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with C/I Poly (or the ability to obtain)
  • 7 years + of Graphics experience
  • 5 years + of UX/UI experience
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, or similar
  • Must have a Master’s Degree or higher in Human Computer Interface, or similar
  • Must have a high level of skill within Adobe Suite and MS Office
  • Must have the ability to balance UI/UX design needs with customer requirements
  • Must have a positive customer service oriented attitude, be an overall team player, and have the ability/flexibility to respond to changing requirements
  • Must be able to work across business/customer lines for the befit of the team and users

Other Design, Coordination, & Team Skills

  • Candidate must possess superb communications skills (graphical, oral and written)
  • Must have amazing design skills and the ability to apply them to support the team with the development of UI/UX (Color, Design, Visual Weight, etc.)
  • Must be able to excel within a fast-paced environment and have the flexibility to support multiple customers with varying needs and priorities
  • Must be able to work with all level of the team from Developers and Managers, to Customers Representatives and Users in a positive and professional manner
  • Must be able to assist the team breakdown and solution all UI and UX customer requirements
  • Must be able to create custom UI elements such as gradients, svg-s, png-s, and etc. to support developers as needed
  • Must be able to organize content from multiple sources into clear and actionable documentation, designs, or wireframes
  • Must be able to define user types/groups and then recognize user workflows and needs with in each user type/group
  • Must be able to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks within the allotted
