Job Description:

The Manager, User Experience – Ad Products is responsible for leading a full lifecycle digital ad product development team. This person will manage both UX Designers and Rich Media Developers to support the full spectrum of requests, including responding to sales RFPs, developing new custom ad products and optimizing existing campaigns. An inspirational leader with strong collaboration and team building skills, the Manager, User Experience – Ad Products must also be able to foster and grow key cross-functional relationships within Kelley Blue Book and across Cox Automotive Media. As a working manager, this person will need to roll up their sleeves and help the team deliver on its commitments. This person reports directly to the Sr. Director, User Experience and serves as a key member of the leadership team.


  • ·Drive a full lifecycle digital ad product development team, everything from new ad product ideation and development all the way to code build, deployment and optimization
  • ·Partner closely with sales, product and producers to quickly ideate, visualize, and validate custom solutions that meet our OEM clients’ unique campaign goals
  • ·Continually drive development of new and innovation product solutions that support our customers’ unique advertising goals
  • ·Actively support the RFP response team to increase business from existing clients and win new business
  • ·Recruit, hire, grow and retain a team of Visual UX Designers and Rich Media Developers
  • ·Experience managing a team within an agency environment strongly preferred



  • ·5 - 7 years experience leading teams to respond to and deliver innovative digital advertising solutons
  • ·Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and influence leaders across the organization
  • ·Experience working in an agency environment preferred
  • ·Demonstrated ability to align team’s work to the overall vision and obtain buy-in throughout the organization
  • ·Effective manager of people with strong team-building and personal development skills
  • ·Comfortable managing multiple complex projects, people and resources in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic environment

·Strong designer capable of system-level thinking, as well as detailed design execution

·Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required; Master’s Degree preferred

·Experience with building and coding interactive ad products is a plus

·Experience in the automotive industry strongly preferred
