Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Our team manages Walmart's inventory planning platform which determines time phased inventory needs for Walmart stores and distribution centers to ensure product availability for our customers. We partner with strong business, data science, and engineering teams to transform how flow planning is done and provide value at scale - over half a billion inventory plans are currently produced every day, for all products carried in each of our stores globally, as well as eCommerce delivery, pick-up, and all other channels our customers prefer to shop with us.

We're looking for a product manager who is excited about helping us build our next generation of inventory planning tools and who is eager to work on a large platform that drives inventory flow for Walmart.

What you'll do:

Create vision and roadmaps for our inventory planning platform, partnering with data science, engineering, and business teams to prioritize and deliver appropriately

Provide data driven analytics to justify where inventory flow can continue to improve and provide better value

Identify additional functionality that is needed as our platform and network flow continues to evolve and serve customers in new ways

What you'll bring:

Strong background in product management, including setting vision for new product capabilities, experience with large scale products, and experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders

Analytics background, including an ability to generate data-driven insights and hypotheses for improvement by leveraging big data, SQL, and related tools

Experience with inventory planning and understanding of supply chain flow concepts.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
