Job Overview/Summary
The University Programs Team Lead serves as a working supervisor, mentor, and coach to a team of university recruiters and coordinator responsible for supporting assigned functions by:
• Executing effective Talent Acquisition practices to achieve entry level recruitment results
• Developing and executing innovative, bold sourcing strategies and recruitment plans for entry level talent aligned to Clorox and functional business and talent strategies through partnerships with colleges, universities, community and diversity recruitment partners
• Leading the Clorox Summer Intern Program including programming and design; as well as conversion of Summer Interns to Fulltime positionsKey Responsibilities
- Serve as lead to a team of university recruiters and coordinator with a focus on recruiter professional development, mentorship and coaching
- Act as a lead contact for Clorox US functions to ensure Talent Acquisition University Programs processes and strategy are aligned to functional business strategies
- Develop an annual University Programs strategy designed to attract the best entry level talent in the United States for all business functions
- Develop an annual plan to drive diversity recruitment initiatives in partnership with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and HR Inclusion & Diversity team
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Clorox Talent Acquisition University Programs processes to ensure team members follow best practice and stay compliant in their work
- Lead the end to end recruiting process being the single point of contact for Hiring Managers (HM) & candidates by managing searches against a timeline with a focus on meeting benchmarks and metrics, and managing multiple priorities simultaneously. This includes requisition management, candidate identification, interview coordination, compensation review, and offer acceptance
- Act as a partner and a creative consultant in the Talent Acquisition process by forging dynamic consultative relationships with assigned functions and hiring managers in identifying talent solutions for individual departments leveraging internal and external talent
- Meet or exceed all Talent Acquisition Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics and Recruiter Scorecard metrics including but not limited to time to fill, time to submit first candidate, direct sourced candidates, disposition rate, LinkedIn recruiter seat usage and hiring manager / candidate satisfaction survey scores
- Use Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure compliance in all Talent Acquisition processes and timely communication to hiring managers and candidates. Ensure all administrative reporting tasks are completed monthly for accurate reporting.
- Use networking skills to build strong partnerships with external organizations or professional associations in the community to attract talent to Clorox including colleges, universities, non-profit community groups and diversity organizations
- Ensure a continues improvement approach to Talent Acquisition processes through innovation and thinking boldly
Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years of entry level recruitment experience
- 2-3 years of leadership experience with early talent programs including work with internship and co-op programs
Required Skills and Abilities
- Proven leadership and strategic thinking skills in entry level Talent Acquisition programs resulting in strong service level in support of client groups
- Strategic mindset to build best in class recruitment strategies for entry level talent
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Talent Acquisition processes including solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, etc.) and facilitate selection processes through debrief and calibration sessions with hiring managers and interview panels.
- Strong technical expertise in HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
- Hands-on experience with recruiting software, job boards, and social media
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong decision maker and independent leader with a customer focused mindset capable of building professional relationships
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge in Workday Recruiting Module
- Hands-on experience executing diversity recruitment strategies or programs
- Working knowledge of emerging technology trends in Talent Acquisition to improve processes or hiring manager and candidate experience
