The University & Community Relations Recruiter, under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, manages Satellite Healthcare’s (SHC) university and community programs and initiatives. Accountable for ensuring that the program(s) supports the organization’s talent acquisition objectives.

The University & Community Relations Recruiter leads strategic university relationships in creating best-in-class programs to engage, hire, and welcome the best graduates from universities, technical programs and community based training programs. As a leader of the University and Community Relations program, this position champions intern and new grad talent.  This position is responsible for partnering with client groups as well as Talent Acquisition colleagues to assure that SHC is an employer-of-choice from on-campus introduction to offer and all the way to onboarding.

Essential Functions

• Collaborates with Talent Acquisition Manager, Education and Compliance in the development of program policies and practices; assists management and staff in interpreting the program's policies and application

• Raises awareness of university and community relations programs and goals by developing strong partnerships with hiring managers, team leaders, human resources, and talent acquisition

• Develop and deliver annual new grad and intern hiring strategies for client business groups that align with overall talent map

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on ways the University & Community Relations Consultant can supplement just in time hiring; champion year-round new grad hiring for appropriate roles

• Develop strategies to help us attract diverse candidates across many channels; build an operational plan to execute against those strategies for specific functions

• Manage the full cycle recruiting process including, but not limited to sourcing, screening, interview process management, maintaining candidate relationships, creating and extending offers, and closing candidates

• Design, implement and execute robust, innovative, university specific recruiting strategies to attract and hire top talent and meet hiring goals (career fairs, information sessions, student organization meetings, etc.)

• Build and maintain long-term relationships at target universities with key faculty, professors, administration, and student organizations

• Brand and promote Satellite Healthcare on campus as an employer of choice

• Responsible for driving the Satellite Healthcare culture through values and customer service standards

• Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers

• Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication

• Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university

Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
